Everything is waiting for you.
Somatic psychotherapy available in-person and online
An invitation.
You've come this far—why not keep going? Be bold and curious. Therapy is a journey that can take you many places, but it always brings you back to yourself. If you've lost touch with how it feels to be at home in yourself or want to discover that feeling, explore how I can help you.
Connect today if you experience:
insomnia
anxiety that shows up as tension and inability to relax
fatigue from always being “on” and masking how you really feel
relentless intensity that affects your relationships at work and home
depression that leaves you feeling empty and detached
disconnection from your body
chronic and complex medical issues
nightmares, flashbacks and dissociation
loss of meaning and direction
alienation
dullness and lack of vitality
Solid. Incisive. Disarming.

SF Bay Area native. Child of immigrants. Mother. Lover of music, books and gardens. Wry observer of the human condition. Friendly and fearless guide of the world within.
Welcome! I'm Jane, a somatic psychotherapist based in the San Francisco Bay Area who specializes in treating trauma and people who deal with chronic illness, chaos, numbness and emotional dysregulation—people who are struggling to feel alive. During our work together, we will explore, cultivate and deepen your relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you. Many of my clients are successful BIPOC women who feel something is missing despite their efforts. I also help those who felt stuck or unsatisfied with past therapy.
If you are living on the edge and going to collapse or explode if one more thing happens, and you are looking for a warm, direct and interactive approach, connect today to see if we're a good fit. I work primarily with individuals, but also see couples, families and facilitate groups.

Clinical Experience
Life is often painful and hard to navigate, but I have witnessed, time and again, how people possess an inner strength that allows them to change, heal, and grow. For nearly 20 years I worked with culturally diverse folks in hospitals and community mental health, many facing crises and other challenges.
Intensive Services: UCSF’s Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs
Community Mental Health: Westside Community Services (SF) and Richmond Area Multi- Services (SF), Kaiser Permanente (Vallejo Adult Outpatient Program)
Grief and Loss: Sutter VNA & Hospice (SF)
Advanced Training
Before I became a therapist, I did massage and bodywork and maintained a small practice in the North Bay. Read here to learn more about how I came to study somatic psychology and become a body (somatic) psychotherapist. You can also find additional information about somatic work and how I practice it here. My graduate education emphasized this specific approach, and my advanced training reflects my enduring belief in its power and effectiveness.
Somatic Experiencing™ (3 year trauma-focused modality based on the work of Peter Levine). SEP certification expected Summer 2026.
Contemporary Reichian Therapy through The Somatic Psychotherapy Institute - PNW (2 year relational and emotionally focused character-based somatic psychotherapy)
